These two barrel Model 99-G rifle/shotgun combination sets were only offered from 1922 to 1934. The shotgun barrels could be purchased separately until around 1938. The 300 Savage rifle barrel is equipped with a pinned beaded blade Marble's front sight and adjustable buckhorn rear sight. The right side of the front sight ramp is marked "PAT. SEPT. 4 06". The barrel has the two-line Savage address and 1893-1909 patent marking on top ahead of the rear sight and "HI-PRESSURE STEEL/-SAV. .300-" to the left of the rear sight at the breech. The front receiver ring is marked "SAVAGE/MODEL 99" and has been drilled and tapped for scope mounting. The serial number is marked on the bottom of the action and inside the forearm. It is mounted with a multi-point checkered walnut pistol grip stock and Schnabel tip forearm with a flat serrated steel buttplate marked with the Savage Quality Trade Mark oval with Indian head on the toe. The 410 shotgun barrel is 24 inches in length with a single brass bead sight, 2 3/4 inch chamber and full choke. It is marked with the two line address/two 1909 patent dates followed by "SAVAGE" and "410" at the breech. The length of pull is 12 7/8 inches. Comes in a factory case with reinforced metal corners, hinges and handles, velvet lining and instructions.

Very good with 98% refinished blue finish remaining, showing some scattered light spotting and some discoloration on the bolt. The lever retains almost all of the bright original case colors. The reoiled wood shows only light handling marks and moderately worn checkering. The shotgun barrel shows some assembly wear and some light spotting. The markings are sharp. The action is excellent. The case is fine with some wear and tears on the exterior, fading and some wear and tears to the lining and some heavy wear on the handle.
