Manufactured in 1935. The rifle is in a scarce .22 Long Rifle configuration with an octagon barrel, which Winchester offered from 1932-1946. It has blade front, and adjustable rear sporting sights. The upper left barrel flat is stamped with the Winchester legend ending in "-.22 LONG R.-," and the factory oval proof is on the barrel and receiver at the breech. Mounted with a 11-groove walnut forearm and smooth pistol grip stock with checkered steel buttplate.
