Pre-64 Winchester Model 70 Bolt Action Rifle in .300 H & H Magnum

Manufactured in 1960. Standard Winchester markings including the factory oval proof on the left side of the barrel and receiver at the breech. Bolt is numbered to the gun. Hooded ramp front sight, adjustable folding leaf rear sight and receiver tapped for sight/scope mounting. Mounted on a checkered high comb pistol grip stock with sling swivel and checkered metal buttplate.

ConditionVery fine with 90% original blue finish remaining, showing some muzzle and edge wear, a few small minor scratches and thinning to a smooth gray on the bolt handle knob. The refinished stock is very good with a number of minor dings and scratches on the underside of the forearm and overall a few minor dents and dings. The checkering remains crisp. The markings are sharp and clear. The action is excellent.
