Manufactured by Remington Arms in 1937. Dual bead sights on the matte concave rib marked "PARKER BROS. MAKERS. MERIDEN. CT. U.S.A. PARKER SPEC. STEEL" with 2 3/4 inch chambers, ejectors, and improved modified/full chokes. Standard markings on the water table with the Remington "PARKER" marking on the bottom of the receiver, game bird scenes on the sides and underside, lightly engraved trigger guard, dual triggers, and tang mounted thumb safety. Checkered splinter forearm and pistol grip stock with hard rubber Parker Brothers grip cap and Remington style Parker "dog head" checkered buttplate. Barrel and stock measurements are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .732/.735 inch; minimum wall thickness .033/.033 inch; drop at comb 1 1/2 inches; drop at heel 2 5/8 inches; length of pull 14 inches.

Fine. 70% original thinning blue finish remains on the barrels with scattered small dings and scratches, forearm marks, and some nicks around the muzzle. The receiver has 40% original case colors with a mottled gray patina on the balance, sharp engraving, refinished trigger guard, and some light spotting. The refinished wood is very good with rounded flats, 2 1/4 inch hairline crack on the underside of the forearm, small dings throughout, and small chips on the buttplate. Mechanically excellent.
