With dual triggers, Greener style side safety, and knurled cocking/decocking piece for the rifle barrel on the upper tang. Checkered forearm and buttstock with a gold initial oval on the grip cap inscribed with a stylized "JP", raised cheekpiece, and serrated buttplate. Barrel and stock measurements are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .715/.715 inch; minimum wall thickness .037/.037 inch; drop at comb 1 3/8 inches; drop at heel 2 3/8 inches; length of pull 14 1/4 inches.

Very good. 95% plus original blue finish remains with some light muzzle wear, handling marks overall, and some small dings. The wood is also very good with crisp checkering, scattered dings and bruises throughout, some heavier marks on the buttstock, and a 7/8 inch hairline crack visible behind the receiver on the left side of the wrist. Mechanically excellent.
