Manufactured in 1906 with a special order half length magazine, Lyman beaded blade front sight, King filler block in the rear dovetail slot, and Lyman receiver sights. The barrel has the two-line address/patent marking and "33 WCF" on top and the two-line nickel steel marking on the left side. The Winchester factory oval proof is stamped on top of the barrel ahead of the rear dovetail slot and receiver at the breech. The upper tang has the three-line model trademark information, and the lower tang has the serial number and patent dates along with "XX" on the left side. Mounted on a nicely figured and checkered pistol grip stock with factory hard rubber grip cap and Al Dexter vented recoil pad. Comes with a leather sling.
Fine. The barrel retains 95% of the refinished blue showing a streak of gray at the muzzle and limited patches of minor pitting. The remaining metal surfaces retain 60% original blue finish with the balance a smooth gray patina. The reoiled wood is fine with filler added to the front and rear ends of the forearm and some scattered minor handling marks. The checkering is crisp overall. Mechanically excellent.
