Description:

Blade front and folding ladder rear sights, with the U.S. marking, model and serial number on the left side of the receiver and an adjustable tangent rear sight with a flip-up peep. Fine "stripe" grain, light colored straight wrist stock, with a "JSA/1901" cartouche on the left side, script "P" on the underside of the wrist, and a steel buttplate.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, with 80% of the original blue/casehardened finish overall, showing areas of brown patina on the barrel bands, along with a few brown/gray streaks on the receiver and minor handling marks overall. The buttplate is mostly a silvered out gray. The stock is also very fine, with attractive grain and some light dents. Mechanically excellent.
