Manufactured in 1956. Dual bead sights on a matted vent rib, Winchester factory oval proofs, full choke and 2 3/4 inch chamber. The factory engraving depicts a dog on point in a wooded field on the left side and two ducks flying through a marshy area on the right side. A pigeon is engraved on the magazine tube. The highly figured forearm and pistol grip stock feature fancy checkering, added chiseled silver grip cap with engraved initials and added solid Winchester recoil pad. Stock measurements: drop at comb 1 1/4 inches, drop at heel 2 1/8 inches, length of pull 14 inches.

Fine, retaining 60% faded original blue finish with the balance a smooth gray patina. The wood is very good with the varnish beginning to craze, some worn checkering and some minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
