This is an example of a Crown Grade Mark V Rifle, Weatherby's top grade rifle, only available on a custom order basis. The tapered barrel was manufactured without sights and features factory floral scroll and punch dot engraving extending from the center point to the breech. The factory engraving extends to the receiver, bolt shroud, hinged floor plate, and trigger guard. A relief engraved gold deer is on the floor plate against a scroll and punch dot background. The receiver has standard Mark V markings and fitted with engraved scope bases and rings. Jeweled and fluted bolt and jeweled follower, serrated trigger, and knurled bolt handle. Mounted on an exhibition grade pistol grip stock with contrasting wood inlays, fancy floral scroll carved borders around fine stippling, inset gold inscription plate inscribed "HAWK" on the underside of the forearm, and vented factory recoil pad.
