Manufactured as a factory special order only .22 LR rifle from 1969 to 1977 with less than 700 manufactured. The rifle was a sporterized version of the Model 40X Target Rifle with a 5-shot magazine and highly figured 700 stock. This example has a barrel manufactured without sights, Leupold M8-4x scope on a Redfield mount, contrasting grip cap and forend cap, skip line stock checkering, cheekpiece, quick release sling swivels, leather sling and solid Pachmayr recoil pad.

Excellent overall retaining 99% plus original blue finish showing limited handling evidence and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The scope has clear optics. Provenance: Robert E. Petersen Collection
