Desirable Fully Transferrable British STEN MKII Type Class III/NFA Fully Automatic Submachine Gun Manufactured by Interport Inc.

This is a fine example a WWII British STEN type submachine gun as manufactured using mostly WWII parts that was assembled onto a new production tube receiver by the Interport Inc. of St. George, Utah. The STEN SMG was the main British submachine gun that was developed and used throughout WWII by the British forces all the way up and into the 1960s, eventually being replaced by the Sterling SMG. They were easy to manufacture, and the British Government produced several thousand during WWII. The overall length of the receiver is approximately 11 3/4 inches long with a short 7 1/2 inch long barrel. The top of the magazine well is stamped "STEN MK II", and the underside was originally stamped "FL 33974/M78". The lower left side of the receiver tube has also been numbered (FL33974) to match the magazine well when it was registered. It has the late pattern "T" style all metal buttstock. The barrel is correctly stamped "INTERPORT ST. GEO, UTAH 9 MM", and it comes with one original 30 round stick magazine.

ConditionVery good with 75% of the black painted exterior finish remaining that was applied when it was assembled/remanufactured. The stock finish has faded and oxidized to a brown patina overall. NOTE: This weapon is a National Firearms Act (NFA), fully transferable Class 3, which is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, (BATFE) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 478.
