Description:

Built around an Armory USA "AUSA" model stamped sheet metal receiver, this rifle was built by Piece of History Firearms of Tucson, Arizona as a semi-automatic copy of the AKS-74U sub-machine gun. Also known as the "Krinkov" or "Krink" in the States. The 74U was designed as a compact counterpart to the full-sized AKS-74, intended for use by rear-line units, vehicle crews, paratroopers, and special forces, essentially filling the "personal defense weapon" niche, before said niche had a name. Post front and 2-leaf rear sights, with the distinctive pressure booting muzzle device/flash hider, smooth forearm, hinged top cover, checkered grip and side-folding stock. The trunnion is Russian marked, with cosmetic 3-position markings/notches for the selector, an assembly number "2609" on the 74U components and the manufacturer markings on the underside behind/beneath the grip.

Rating Definition:

Excellent, with 95% plus matte black finish, showing some light handling marks overall. Mechanically excellent. NOTE: This weapon is a National Firearms Act (NFA), Class 3, which is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, (BATFE) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 478.
