Description:

Manufactured between 1926 and 1930 and marketed by the California Arms Co. as a self defense and anti-bandit gun to compete with the Ithaca Auto and Burglar gun. Features a single bead sight, blue steel barrels and breech block, 2 1/2 inch chambers, open chokes, spring strikers with knurled cocking knobs, and cast aluminum frame and forend. The frame was designed to be similar to the Colt Government Model grip with storage space for two 20 gauge shotgun shells. It is estimated that only about 300 were manufactured.

Rating Definition:

Very good. The barrels and breechblock have a mostly brown patina with strong traces of the blue finish, spotting, and surface scratches. The frame has traces of original anodized finish with the balance mostly bright, and small dings and scratches throughout. Mechanically needs work, the trigger is cracked and will not disengage. NOTE: This weapon is registered as a National Firearms Act (NFA), AOW (Any Other Weapon). Although NOT a fully automatic weapon it is still controlled like a NFA weapon that is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, (BATFE) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 478.
