Manufactured in 1946, the Long Branch #7 MkI rifle was a new-made training arm as opposed to British examples which were typically converted 303 service rifles. Canadian Number 7s were used by the Canadian armed forces in addition to being acquired by the British Army and Royal Air Force. Blade front and folding peep rear sights, with the three-line model, arsenal and date markings on the left side of the receiver and repeating "Canadian Broad Arrow" proofs on multiple components. The magazine body is stamped "22" on the left and has no internal components. No bayonet lugs are present on the barrel. Fitted with a smooth stock, which has a serrated upper handguard, canvas sling, and a steel buttplate.

Excellent, with 98% of the original blue finish, showing some light handling marks overall. The stock is very fine, showing some light dings and scuffs overall, as well as some small chips on the handguard serrations. Mechanically excellent.
