Description:

Though the exact history of this arm is unknown, the boxed "SA" (Suomen Armeija, Finnish Army) stamp on the receiver suggest that it was originally deployed by the Russians, captured by the Finns during the Continuation War (1941-1944), and in all likelihood promptly returned to the field against its former owners. Adjustable pin front and tangent rear sights, with "1941" on the receiver and the serial number (transliterated Cyrillic: NK1404) on the receiver, bolt carrier and bolt. Smooth pistol grip stock, with a ventilated steel front handguard, canvas sling and a cupped steel buttplate. The scope is dated "1941" and numbered "33305", with a set of leather lens caps and a canvas and leather cover containing two small maintenance tools.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, with 70% of the blue finish, showing some areas of brown and gray patina, edge wear and handling marks. Some components have mixed numbers. The stock is fine, with scuffs and scratches. Optics are clear, with the adjustments in good order. Mechanically excellent.
