Manufactured in 1937 for issue to the Luftwaffe. Fixed sights, the "1937" date on the chamber, the "Type C-2" Krieghoff logo on the front toggle link, and "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN" on the upper safety position and extractor. The pistol is stamped with a set of "stick wing" Luftwaffe proofs, "eagle/L/2", "eagle", and "eagle/2", and the barrel is diameter marked "8,82". The pistol is fitted with a set of straw finished small parts, niter blue pins and springs, checkered brown plastic grips with smooth borders and an extruded blue replacement "fxo" magazine with an unmarked alloy base.

Very fine with 85% plus of the original blue finish, showing some bright edge wear, the start of a brown patina on the grip straps, and scattered handling marks. The front edge of the left frame rail has a bright rubbed flat spot on the bottom, and some light scratches are present on the front strap. The straw parts retain 70% plus bright original color, and the grips are excellent with some scattered extremely light dings. Mechanically excellent.
