Red insert blade front and white outline adjustable notch rear sights, standard barrel markings, Rampant Colt stamp on the left side of the frame, and checkered wraparound Colt medallion Pachmayr Gripper grips. With a Colt wood grain box labeled to the gun, with the label bearing a hand-written note "Show Gun", and a Colt factory letter confirming the features and stating the revolver was retained by Colt as a display and sample piece.

Near new in box, with some light handling marks overall. Box is shows tape repair, with one end detached and the other absent. Firing pin needs adjustment, otherwise mechanically excellent.
