According to the included factory letter, this revolver was retained by the factory as a cutaway demonstrator. Overall markings and features are standard, with 3 cuts into the left side of the frame exposing the inner works, a cut through the lower front of the cylinder catch, six cuts through on the right side, a cutaway on both sides of frame with shortened grip profile. Factory letter states missing grips. 4-inch barrel, bright stainless steel. the Rampant Colt logo on side plate is partly machined away. Several machined cutaway details on left and right side of frame. Notes: Sample and display revolver cutaway which had been retained by factory.
