Produced from 1905 to 1943, this revolver was manufactured in 1907 as a "cutaway demonstrator model kept by the Colt factory." It is absent the hammer, and several other internal parts with cutouts on the rear of the frame for viewing of the internal workings. It features a half moon front and frame notch rear sights with a six-shot swing-out cylinder and mottled checkered plastic grips with the Rampant Colt logo embossed in relief at the top. A set of London proof house stamps are present on the barrel, frame, and cylinder. Complete with factory letter and Colt inventory parts tag stating, "To 17925 12-3-47/From Bob Courtney". (Bob Courtney was the Manager of the Parts Department at the Colt Factory).
