Named for the military nomenclature for Barrett's M82 Semi-Automatic Anti-Material Rifle, the M107 commercial trade name was eliminated due to the high level of similarity between the Army adopted rifle and its commercial counterpart. Fitted with the Barrett designed, cylindrical signature muzzle brake, fitted to the short, 21 inch fluted barrel. An accessory rail runs along the upper receiver cover that is fitted with a Barrett, BORS/Leupold Vari-X III 4.5-14x50 Long Range Tactical sniper scope with Barrett rings and lens caps. This system is a ballistic computer integrated with the Leupold scope to calculate elevation, air temperature, and barometric pressure, allowing the marksman to make accurate range adjustments automatically at various distances to the target. Includes complete instructions on the scope system along with a USB cable. Additionally, the rifle is fitted with a AR-15 style grip and safety, and a rubber padded buttstock. The forend is fitted with an adjustable steel bipod. Includes a Pelican iM3300 hard case.
