Factory Class "D" Engraved Nickel Colt Python Double Action Revolver with Factory Letter and Case

Manufactured in 1978 with standard markings and features along with factory class "D" floral scroll engraving. The factory engraving "COLT ENG" marking is stamped on the left side of the frame under the grip. Includes a Colt leatherette wrapped case.

ConditionExcellent as factory embellished, with a few light handling marks, traces of a cylinder drag line, and a couple small patches of oxidation (one on barrel and one on cylinder latch). The grips are excellent with sharp checkering overall. Mechanically excellent. The case is very good with some scattered light handling marks and some light wear on the interior.
