Manufactured in 1929. Lyman beaded blade front and elevation adjustable semi-buckhorn sporting rear sights, two-line New Haven address on the right side of the barrel and the two-line model, maker, steel, caliber, and trademark marking on the left, and Winchester "WP" proofs on top of the barrel and receiver at the breech. Solid frame with the three-line Winchester trademark on the upper tang. Smooth forearm and buttstock with a blue steel crescent buttplate.

Very fine. 90% original blue finish remains with crisp markings, an area of pitting on the magazine tube near the muzzle, moderate edge wear, surface scratches, and handling marks overall. The wood is very fine with small dings and bruises. Mechanically excellent.
