OE - GOOD - some minor replacement parts; metal smoothly rusted or lightly pitted in places, cleaned; principal lettering, numerals and design on metal legible; lightly scratched, bruised or minor cracks repaired; in good working order.

This shotgun was previously identified as being carried by greenhorn in the film "Mountain Men" with Charlton Heston and Brian Keith. It has "S" markings for Stembridge Gun Rentals on the forearm and trigger guard and a "422" inventory number on the buttstock. The Birmingham proofed barrels have a post front sight on the concave rib which is marked "WM MOOR & CO LONDON FINE TWIST". The locks have scroll engraving and "WM MOORE & CO." The furniture is also scroll engraved. The checkered straight grip stock has a German silver escutcheon on the bottom.

Good with a mix of gray and brown patina, mild pitting concentrated at the breech, and general marks and scratches. The stock is also fine and has worn but visible checkering, scratches and small dings, and a chip at the tail of the upper tang. Mechanically fine.
