Manufactured c. 1882-1890. The set includes one 28 inch two stage barrel in .38 caliber with a globe front sight base, fixed notch rear sight, and checkered forearm; a second 28 inch part octagon barrel in .25 caliber with a front sight base only and no rear sight seat; and a 26 inch in .30 caliber with beaded blade front sight, adjustable sporting style rear sight, and checkered forearm. The nickel plated action has the standard 1882 markings and features and is fitted with a mid-range peep sight with adjustable aperture and a checkered pistol grip stock with added raised cheekpiece and a Swiss buttplate.

Fine as period refinished and assembled with between 50 and 70% original blue remaining on the barrels, 90% plus nickel plating on the action and buttplate, some minor oxidation and marks, carefully pieced buttstock, crisp checkering, and attractive figure. Mechanically fine.
