This pistol has no visible markings. It has a full flintlock mechanism that is purely a muzzle loading pistol powered by pressurized air in the detachable reservoir that forms the butt. The two-stage smoothbore barrel has a brass blade front sight and turned girdle transition. The upper tang is brass with border engraving and is surrounded with raised floral carving on the walnut stock. The furniture is also all border engraved brass accented by carved molding and floral patterns. The reservoir has scroll and border engraving on the butt emulating a traditional pommel cap including a false screw head. The butt reservoir is a replacement of fairly recent manufacture.
