Manufactured in the early 20th century with modified and improved cylinder chokes, London nitro proof marks, steel bead front sight, 2 1/2 inch chambers, ejectors, automatic safety, "XXV" in gold inlay on the distinctive Churchill rib and bottom of the action, "E J CHURCHILL (GUNMAKERS) LTD" (right) and "ORANGE ST GUNWORKS LEICESTER SQUARE LONDON" (left) signed on the breech end of the barrels, "E.J. CHURCHILL" signed in banners on the sides of the action, "UTILITY/MODEL" around the gold "XXV" on the bottom of the action, fine English scroll and floral engraving, matching serial numbers, checkered stock and forearm, and solid recoil pad. Bottom rib is engraved with the importer details "CLASSIC ARMS CORDOVA, TN." Bore and stock measurements: bore measurement 9 inches from breech, .736/.734, choke, .009/.019, minimum wall thickness, .028/.028,14 7/8 inch length of pull, weight 6 lbs. 0 oz.

Very good overall as refinished with 85% plus blue remaining, silver-gray on the balance, minor marks and scratches, crisp markings and engraving, partially smoothed checkering, minor pressure marks and scratches, and smooth refinished wood. Mechanically fine.
