The accompanying factory letter lists this revolver with the desirable 6 1/2 inch barrel, checkered walnut grips and blue finish when sold on January 19, 1917, and delivered to Paxton & Gallagher, Omaha, NE. Matching serial numbers on the butt, right grip panel, cylinder and ejector shroud.

Very fine, retaining 85% plus original blue finish showing minor holster and edge wear and speckling of brown on the grip straps. 60% original case colors remain on the hammer and trigger. The grips are very good showing moderate handling evidence and wear along the top of the checkering. Mechanically excellent.
