Post front and tangent rear sights, with the Izhevsk "arrow in triangle" stamp and "1940" on top of the receiver, and the serial number (transliterated Cyrillic: AN158) on the receiver, bolt carrier and buttstock. Fitted with a smooth pistol grip stock, with a ventilated metal/hardwood upper handguard, cleaning rod slotted in on the right side, and a cupped steel buttplate. A compatible knife bayonet is included, 14 1/4 inches overall, 9 5/8 inch blade, wood grips and a metal sheath.
