Colt First Series Match Target Woodsman Semi-Automatic Pistol

Manufactured in 1938, the introductory year for the Match Target Woodsman pistol. Elevation adjustable Partridge blade front and fully adjustable rear notch sights, with "MATCH/(bulls eye)/TARGET" and "THE WOODSMAN" on the left side of the barrel and frame, and the serial number on the underside concealed by the correct early style one-piece checkered "elephant ear" grip with silver Colt medallions.

ConditionFine, with 90% of the blue finish, with some scuffs and bright spots on the right side of the pistol, patches of gray patina on the back strap and trigger guard, and mild handling marks overall. The fair grip has split in the front, with some absent chips and glue filler. Mechanically excellent.
