Manufactured in 1942, the final year of Woodsman production before Colt shifted men and machines to fulfill wartime orders. Adjustable Patridge blade front and notch rear sights, with standard markings on the frame and slide. Fitted with a serrated trigger and back strap (rectangular, horizontal), checkered extended grips, and a full blue magazine. The included Colt "black box" is numbered to a different pistol, with a black-on-white lid label announcing the extended plastic grips in addition to the model and "TARGET PATRIDGE SIGHT" labels on the end, along with an instruction sheet.
