Two Model 1942 Nazi Stahlhelm Helmets, One with "Normandy" Style Tri-Tone Pattern Camouflage

Both helmets feature the unrolled edge and integral vent grommets of the 1942 pattern, with leather chinstraps and webbing. 1) Camo painted M42 stahlhelm, marked "HK869/3848" in the rear of the skirt, and a faint maker's mark on the end of the chinstrap. The exterior has been finished in tan, brown and green paint, with a light applied texture. 2) Heer single-decal M42 stahlhelm, marked "ckl64/3265" at the rear.

Condition1) Fine, with 75% of the paint finish and mild cracking/scuffing of the leather and a few small areas of spotting. Some of the rubbed areas show hints of red and white paint beneath the camo. 2) Very fine, with mild wear. The chinstrap has been shortened, and the webbing may be a later replacement.
