Manufactured in 1940, this pistol features a fine punch-dot backed scroll engraving, gold inlays, and a deep blue finish. Patridge blade front and adjustable square notch rear sights, with the two-line address/patent marking stamped on the top of the barrel, and the following markings rendered in gold inlay: The "MATCH/(bull's-eye)/TARGET" logo on the barrel, "THE WOODSMAN" on the frame, and "COLT/AUTOMATIC/CAL..22 LONG RIFLE" next to the Rampant Colt on the slide, fine scrollwork runs down the sides of the pistol, with a pair of extended right-handed roper style thumb-rest grips and a "MATCH TARGET" marked full blue magazine.
