Manufactured in 1950, the sides of the pistol have been subsequently finely custom engraved in leafy scrollwork with textured backgrounds. Blade front and adjustable square-notch rear sights, with the two-line address and patent markings on the barrel, "COLT/AUTOMATIC/CAL..22 LONG RIFLE" on the slide, and an engraved and gold inlaid Rampant Colt over "MATCH TARGET" on the left side of the barrel, gold-inlaid serial number on the reverse. The grips are fine checkered walnut with a right handed thumb-rest, and the magazine has a full-blue finish.

Very fine as professionally embellished, with 98% of the blue finish. The slide and barrel are taking on a plum patina, with some light handling marks overall. The grips are very fine, with some light wear and verdigris buildup. The grip rubs against the slide stop in operation, otherwise mechanically fine.
