Manufactured in 1943. Blade and flat top notch sights, the "USS" monogram and "U.S. & S. Co./SWISSVALE, PA. U.S.A." on the left side of the slide, a Robert Downie "R.C.D." inspected frame, a thin checkered hammer, short stamped trigger, long grip safety, arched checkered mainspring housing, reinforced Keyes Fiber grips, full blue "A" marked magazine and a High Standard barrel. A brown cardboard shipping box is included.

Fine, with 95% of the refinished parkerized finish, showing some brown spotting on the front portion of the muzzle, edge wear and scattered handling marks. The frame inspection mark has been recut/freshened. Grips are very fine, with some mild dings. The reproduction box shows light wear and staining. Mechanically excellent.
