Description:

Blade front and block "S" marked two-leaf rear sights, with a "W.R.A./1-43" marked barrel, unmarked Type I barrel band, flat bolt, "Q" marked milled trigger guard, "W" hammer, unmarked button safety and a "W" magazine catch. High wood stock, with a two-rivet handguard, "WRA/GHD" and crossed cannons on the right side, and a checkered buttplate. With a "BW" marked magazine. Early in the serial number block for Winchester.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, with 85% of the original parkerized finish, showing a few areas of emerging gray patina, light handling marks and edge wear. The stock is fine, with some light cracks behind the trigger guard and scattered dents. Mechanically excellent.
