Advertising indicated that 500 of these revolvers were manufactured in 1982, however, only 90 were actually sold. The revolver shows flourishes of factory floral scroll engraving along with various gold inlaid John Wayne motifs and Wayne's signature engraved in the back strap. The left grip panel has a scrimshawed "Colt" inset.

Very good overall with a 95% plus original silver plating showing an attractive aged tarnish, a small patch of surface oxidation (bottom of barrel), cylinder drag lines, and numerous minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
