This masterfully engraved revolver is signed under the left grip by Colt master engraver Dennis Kies. It has a class "C" custom engraving which features large splashes of French greyed floral scroll, the aces of diamonds and hearts playing cards on either side of the frame, and gold washed quail and Buffalo Bill motifs on the cylinder. The revolver is also marked "1860/1920" at the top of the back grip strap, "ANNIE OAKLEY MOZEE" down the back grip strap, "Little Sure Shot" and "WAN-TAN-YEYA CI-SCI-LA" on either side of the sight channel in the top strap, and "BUFFALO BILL'S/WILD WEST/SHOW" around the Buffalo Bill motif on the cylinder. The smooth walnut grips feature gold cold medallions as well as grip screw diamonds decorated in the same manner as the rest of the revolver. Includes the original box.

Very fine, retains 98% original finish with some scattered minor scratches and dings. The grips are good with numerous moderate dings and the right side decorative grip screw diamond absent. Mechanically untested as there is a wood block currently securing the mechanism and preventing turning (could be removed). The box is very good with some light wear and small tears.
