Manufactured in 1941 and subsequently embellished by Master Engraver Angelo Bee. Single bead sight on the solid matte rib with a thing gold inlaid band and splash of light scroll engraving at the muzzle, 2 3/4 inch chamber, gold inlaid "MOD" choke marking and Winchester "WP" proofs, and standard model and address markings. The receiver features full coverage leafy scroll engraving surrounding game scenes of a dog flushing quail on the right and a dog flushing pheasants on the left. The scenes are left bright with the dogs rendered in a combination of gold and silver and the birds in gold. With fancy gold wire inlaid borders and matching engraving on the trigger guard. The left side of the receiver is signed "ABEE" followed by Angelo's signature bee marking. Fancy fleur-de-lis checkered extension forearm and pistol grip stock with Winchester hard rubber grip cap and checkered Winchester buttplate. Stock measurements are: drop at comb 1 3/8 inches; drop at heel 2 1/2 inches; length of pull 14 inches.
