Manufactured in 1919. This is one of 31 DH Shotguns in 10 gauge built with 32 inch titanic steel barrels. Single bead sight on a matte concave rib marked "PARKER BROS. MAKERS. MERIDEN, CT. U.S.A. TITANIC STEEL," 3 inch chambers, ejectors and full(.037)/full (.036) chokes. The barrel lug is marked "10/3." The engraving on the receiver is unique in that it features two large ducks, one in flight and the other standing on shore, on each side of the receiver. Most DH grade engraving seen is of two dogs, one setter and on pointer, in these areas. The receiver has double triggers and automatic tang safety. The barrels and forearm hardware are numbered to the gun. Nicely figured and multi-point checkered forearm and pistol grip stock with engraved forearm hardware, Parker hard rubber grip cap, blank initial oval and checkered butt with engraved skeletonized steel buttplate. Barrel and stock measurements: bore diameter .783 R/.780(L), drop at comb 1 5/8 inches, drop at heel 2 1/2 inches and length of pull 14 1/4 inches.

Fine. The barrels retain 50% original blue finish with the balance thinning to a brown. 20% of the original case colors remain in the protected areas of the receiver with the balance an attractive silver gray patina. The replacement stock is very fine and shows limited handling evidence. The original forearm is fine with minor handling evidence and wear along the tops of the checkering.
