According to the chart on page 291 of "The Parker Story" by Gunther, Mullins, Parker, Price, and Cote, approximately 330 DHE grade guns were manufactured with 30 inch Titanic steel barrels chambered for 20 gauge shells. Standard D grade engraving on the receiver with hunting dog scenes on the sides and a group of pheasants on the underside with the balance covered in fine floral scroll. With dual triggers and automatic tang safety. Checkered beavertail forearm and straight grip stock with blank initial oval and vented rubber recoil pad. Barrel and stock measurements are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .618/.616 inch; minimum wall thickness .021/.022 inch; drop at comb 1 3/8 inches; drop at heel 2 1/8 inches; length of pull 14 1/4 inches.

Fine. 90% plus original blue finish remains with some forearm marks, sharp markings, minor edge wear, and small surface scratches. The receiver has traces of original case colors in protected areas, crisp engraving, and an attractive smooth gray patina on the balance. The wood is also fine with well-defined checkering and small dings throughout. Mechanically excellent.
