Ramped beaded blade front and three leaf (one standing, two folding) rear notch express sights on an engraved quarter rib with gold inlaid sighting lines. The barrel is inscribed "No. 2707-2 GRIFFIN & HOWE INC. NEW YORK". Standard markings on the receiver with swivel style scope bases and Carl Zeiss Diavari-ZA 1.5-6x42 scope. Jewelled bolt, extractor, receiver rail, and follower, and engraved checkered bolt handle knob. Checkered stock with ebony forend cap, blue steel grip cap, "S.E.L." inscription plaque, shadow line cheekpiece and solid rubber recoil pad.
