Beaded blade front sight on an engraved and stippled ramp with no provision for a rear sight on the barrel, "No. 136 GRIFFIN & HOWE INC. NEW YORK" marked on top of the barrel, fine scroll and punch dot texture engraving on the barrel and receiver at the breech, Griffin & Howe side mount scope base with Zeiss Diavari-C 3-9x35 scope, light engraving on the bridge with a Lyman adjustable rear peep sight base installed on the right side, checkered bolt handle knob, and trigger with wide serrated shoe. Left side of the barrel is marked "300 WIN. MAG" above an obliterated "30-06 Gov." marking. The floorplate and trigger guard are also engraved with more elaborate floral and scroll patterns. Checkered pistol grip stock with horn forend and grip caps, silver initial plaque inscribed "CEV", and solid rubber recoil pad.

Fine as rechambered, customized, and refinished by Griffin & Howe with 95% plus high quality blue finish remaining, sharp engraving and markings, light handling marks, and a brown/plum patina on the bolt handle. The stock is fine with crisp checkering, small dings and bruises, and wear on the pad. Mechanically excellent. Scope is excellent with clear optics.
