This is a pre-production prototype of a Model 1993 semi-automatic shotgun, a model which never made it to final production. It is unclear how many prototypes of this model were manufactured, but it can be assumed that the number of complete prototypes is very small, making this shotgun exceedingly rare. Dual bead sights on the matte, vent rib, 3 inch chamber, and choke tube system (open installed). The shotgun is unmarked with the exception of "M1993EXP10-10" on the lower left side of the receiver. Smooth finger groove forearm and pistol grip stock with solid rubber recoil pad. The wood has been left unfinished. Stock measurements are: drop at comb 1 1/4 inches; drop at heel 1 3/4 inches; length of pull 14 1/4 inches. The included FN America Certificate of Provenance identifies the shotgun by model and serial number, stating that it was previously a part of the Winchester Factory Collection where it was maintained by U.S. Repeating Arms.

Near new with only light handling marks and a small oil stain at the right rear of the forearm.
