Introduced in 2009, the SCAR was fielded as a competitor to replace the M16/M4 platform as well as the U.S. military's assorted 7.62mm battle/designated marksman rifles. It is U.S. SOCOM's newest service rifle. 1/12" twist barrel with a proprietary FN flash hider and a flip-up front sight on the gas block, quad-rail forearm, windage/elevation adjustable flip-up peep sight, reversible cocking handle, right handed bolt catch, ambidextrous safety and magazine catch, and a folding adjustable buttstock. Includes original box.

Near new, with only the slightest handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The box is very fine with some light handling/storage marks.
