Manufactured in 1987. The accompanying factory letter lists this revolver with a 2 inch "old style barrel" in .38 Special, royal blue finish, smooth grips with gold medallions and type "A" engraving by Denise Thirion when shipped to the Service Armament Co., Ridgefield, NJ, on July 13, 1987, and built especially for Lieutenant John W. Quigley, Berger County Prosecutor's Office, Hackensack, NJ. Also comes with the Colt Custom Shop order form. With 150th anniversary picture box with hand written label reading "C.S. #3261/Service Armament/(for Lt. John Quigley)/D1425 - S/N P63185".

Excellent. 98% original bright polished blue finish remains with a few small nicks and surface scratches. Grips are also excellent with some light handling marks and dings. Mechanically excellent. Box is poor with missing flaps, tears, and corner and edge wear.
