Manufactured in 1896 with standard Winchester markings. Dovetailed blade Lyman front, two leaf folding rear, and added tang mounted peep sights. Mounted with a smooth straight grip stock and crescent buttplate.

Fine overall, retains 50% original blue finish thinning to a smooth grey patina on the balance. 30% of original case colors remain on the hammer and lever. 25% nitre blue remains on loading gate. The very good wood has some minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
