Manufactured in 1920, this is one of a limited number of Parker Bros. shotguns commissioned by Pachmayr Gun Works to be completely refurbished and custom embellished in the early 1970s. The barrels and trigger guard are blue, and the remaining metal parts are casehardened. There is a single bead sight on the concave matte solid rib which is marked "PARKER BROS. MAKERS. MERIDEN, CT. U.S.A. PARKER SPEC. STEEL" with inward pointing arrows at each end. 2 3/4 inch chambers, choked full/full with ejectors. The breech end of the barrels feature a 3 inch wedge of floral scroll and floral pattern engraving and a 1 1/2 inch wedge of floral scroll engraving on the muzzle end sides. The action, trigger guard, skeletonized break lever and forearm hardware are engraved with scroll and floral designs. The action also has a gold inlaid relief pheasant on the left side, a gold-inlaid relief duck on the right side, and a gold inlaid relief turkey on the underside ahead of the trigger guard. The underside front of the receiver is gold inlaid "PARKER BROS" with a gold inlaid wire border. The upper tang also has a cross hatching with dots pattern. The serial number on the lower tang is gold inlaid as is the "SAFE" on the upper tang. The matching serial number is also marked on the water table and on the barrel flats. Gold washed double triggers and tang mounted manual safety. The forearm and pistol grip stock are matching checkered highly figured walnut with very fine checkering with fancy bordering. There is a Parker Bros. hard rubber grip cap with brass plate and a Pachmayr Old English recoil pad. Shotgun measurements are: Bore diameter 9 inches from the breech .735/.736, wall thickness is .420/.420, drop at comb 1 3/8 inches; drop at heel 1 1/8 inches, overall weight is 8.02 lbs. and the length of pull is 14 5/8 inches.

Near mint as masterfully custom embellished/upgraded. 99% plus blue and casehardened finish remains, and overall, there are only a few light pressure dents on the stock and some light handling/storage marks. Mechanically excellent. A desirable embellished Pachmayr "Invincible" custom Parker Bros. shotgun.
