Manufactured in 1947 and subsequently custom embellished. Red bead front and white bead mid sights on the matte, solid rib with standard barrel markings, single Winchester "WP" proof on the barrel (receiver proof absent), 3 inch chamber, and "SKEET" marked choke. The receiver features leafy scroll and segmented line borders around a hunting dog and quail scene on the right, and four ducks in flight over a marsh on the left. The right scene is signed "LC" just below the dogs. The magazine collar is engraved with a pigeon. Fancy figured, diamond pattern checkered extension forearm and pistol grip stock with Winchester grip cap, and checkered Winchester buttplate. Length of pull is 13 3/4 inches.

Very fine as custom engraved, refinished, and wood upgraded. 98% of the blue finish remains with some traces of edge wear, slightly light receiver markings, and sharp engraving. The wood has crisp checkering, some small scattered dings, and attractive figure.
