A product of the Remington Custom Shop, the Premier Grade represented the top tier of Remington's factory offerings. Starting with a full top-to-bottom hand fitting of all components in the firearm, the Premier arm received a detailed engraving and best quality walnut stock. The metal work alone could represent 80 man-hours of work, entirely apart from woodwork or the individual hand fitting. The receiver on this Model 241 Premier Grade F Rifle features fine American scroll engraving surrounding highly detailed panel scenes of a hunting dog and rabbit on the right and a fox stalking a pair of rabbits on the left. The scenes feature detailed wooded backgrounds and fine contrast on the animals. The trigger guard is also engraved and has the engraved initials "CJE". The rifle is fitted with beaded blade front and elevation adjustable sporting notch rear sights, has standard barrel markings and is mounted on fancy checkered forearm and pistol grip stock. The buttstock is fitted with a checkered steel Remington buttplate.

Excellent. 98% original blue finish remains with some small scattered nicks and scratches, and light handling marks. The wood is also excellent with sharp checkering and just a few small dings. Mechanically excellent. An excellent piece of firearm art that is a must have for the serious Remington sporting collector.
