Manufactured in 1934. Half moon front and fixed square notch rear sights, with the two-line address and patent dates on the left side of the slide, the model marking and Rampant Colt on the right, and the matching number beneath the firing pin stop. The frame is marked "X/VP" and "60" on the trigger guard, with a wide hammer, short milled trigger, long grip safety, arched checkered mainspring housing, checkered grips and a two-tone magazine. A Colt "black box" is included, with a proper end label, barrel brush, and instruction sheets.

Excellent, with 97% plus original blue finish, showing some light edge wear, spotting and handling marks. The grips are excellent, with a few light dings. The replacement box is renumbered to the pistol, with glued repairs and detached sections. Part of the modified magazine follower is absent, preventing proper engagement of the slide stop, otherwise the pistol is mechanically excellent.
